Product safety and quality are paramount for us. To guarantee this, our quality assurance and quality management team consists of more than 20 highly-skilled employees.
During the procurement and manufacturing process of all our products we constantly control quality using state-of-the-art analysis methods and in close collaboration with accredited laboratories. This enables us to guarantee the highest quality standards for your products.
We have established laboratory facilities on site together with an accredited laboratory to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. Products are not released for customer delivery until they have been actively tested in the laboratory and approved by our quality assurance specialists.
Every day a total of more than 1000 samples of end products and raw materials are subjected to all quality-relevant analyses at Milchwerke "Mittelelbe" GmbH. Our own quality management team regularly presents all areas of the plant to our customers during audits. In addition, all areas of the company are constantly self-regulated in internal audits. This applies equally to hygiene, production processes and documentation.
The implementation of the highest quality and hygiene standards is closely linked to the design, the materials used and the construction of our plants and buildings. All products are manufactured under the highest standards of hygiene in order to guarantee product safety and top product quality at all times.
To this end a special zone concept has been put in place where employees work under clean room conditions. Full traceability of the raw materials through all process stages is always guaranteed.
Milchwerke Mittelelbe meets high quality standards in accordance with IFS and BRC, including the HACCP concept and this is confirmed in regular audits. In addition, we have certified energy management according to DIN ISO 50001 and supply various products in halal, kosher and organic qualities. Furthermore, our products are completely GMO-free.
