At Milchwerke Mittelelbe, almost everything revolves around milk as a raw material, but many dairy-free products are also produced. However, the milk reception area is always the central point of contact. This is where the processing into high-quality, innovative and healthy products begins. 14 spray towers and 3 cold aseptic filling lines are available for their production. A steam jet agglomeration plant produces special preliminary products for the pharmaceutical industry. With 4 mixing systems, powders can be gently mixed and supplemented with a wide range of ingredients, such as minerals/vitamins and omega-3 fat components.
At the end of the processing chain, there are 10 packaging lines on which our products can be packaged for the food retail trade.
Up to 1.2 million liters of raw milk are processed fresh every day, directly from our milk producers, on state-of-the-art milk processing lines. All these processes meet the highest quality standards.
The cream from this milk is also processed into clarified butter.

The Ready to Drink product area is constantly being adapted to meet increasing requirements. We now have three cold aseptic filling systems for the production of liquid products. Indirect ultra-high heating is used to produce milk-, water- and plant-based drinks, the kinaesthetic properties of which we can influence individually. A highly flexible sterile tank farm enables a smooth, uninterrupted production process.
