Milchwerke Mittelelbe in Stendal has been producing infant nutrition for over 75 years. This has resulted in a high level of expertise and extensive know-how. Infant nutrition is produced using state-of-the-art production facilities from various basic raw materials, primarily milk proteins. Our custom-made semi-finished products are typically blends that are specifically tailored to market conditions and the requirements of individual customers, as well as—of course—to the nutritional needs of infants and toddlers. In addition to traditional infant formula and follow-on formula, our product range also includes organic products. In addition, a plant-based IMF product is currently under development. In the future, a connection to the specialized formulas and FSMP products we manufacture is also conceivable—even though these are currently produced exclusively for our joint venture partner.
Stage 1 Infant Formula for babies aged 0–6 months
Our Stage 1 infant formula has been specially developed to meet the unique nutritional needs of newborns and infants during the first six months of life. This starter formula is based on high-quality cow’s milk and is formulated to be as close as possible to breast milk. It provides all the essential nutrients necessary for the baby’s healthy growth and optimal development.
Stage 2 Infant Formula (Follow-On Milk Formula) for babies aged 6–12 months
Our Stage 2 infant formula was specially developed to meet the nutritional needs of babies starting at 6 months of age, when breast milk or Stage 1 formula alone is no longer sufficient. This follow-on formula provides essential nutrients that growing babies need during the transition to solid foods. The Stage 2 formula is a balanced, milk-based nutrition product made with high-quality milk protein and containing all essential vitamins, minerals, and trace elements.
3-pack of toddler formula (Growing Up Milk) for children 12 months and older
Our Stage 3 toddler formula, also known as Growing Up Milk, is specially formulated to support the nutritional needs of toddlers 12 months and older, when they are increasingly eating solid foods but still need important nutrients from milk. This milk provides a valuable supplement to their daily diet and helps ensure a balanced intake of nutrients to support growth and development during this crucial stage of life.
